Along with other commendable initiatives and events conducted during the holy month of Ramadan such as the Ramadan Fridge and the Ramadan Display Board Competition, students of Year 10 had visited the classes of the Foundation Stage students in an effort to raise awareness about Ramadan.
What was this campaign all about? How did this campaign help the students? Was this campaign necessary? The students responsible for conducting the Ramadan Awareness Campaign taught the F.S students about some eminently imperative Islamic manners and values such as tolerance, respect, integrity, honesty, patience and many more. They also taught them about Ramadan, its significance for the Muslims as well as the Islamic handshake.
This awareness campaign impressively helped the students as it gave them a brief insight about Ramadan and the immense importance of this month for the Muslims and also profoundly promoted diversity among students, a concept tremendously significant in today’s world. This campaign was therefore greatly necessary and proved to be a phenomenally remarkable initiative by the Islamic Department and the Year 10 students.
